Written on 21.01.2026 10:08 by María Martínez-García
Dear all,
After confirming the presenter’s availability, we can now confirm that the final seminar session has been rescheduled to February 3. Thank you all for your understanding.
We would also like to remind you of the homework for the next session:
-
Review how the multimodal flow handles different modalities (whether parameters are shared, whether modalities are linked through the training objective, whether they define independent models for the different modalities...): Campbell, A., Yim, J., Barzilay, R., Rainforth, T., & Jaakkola, T. (2024, July). Generative Flows on Discrete State-Spaces: Enabling Multimodal Flows with Applications to Protein Co-Design. In International Conference on Machine Learning (pp. 5453–5512). PMLR.

Relate the concepts of multiplicity and ambiguity to the different terms in the training loss. What role does each term play in the training objective?: Chun, S., Kim, W., Park, S., & Yun, S. (2025). Probabilistic Language-Image Pre-Training. In The Thirteenth International Conference on Learning Representations.

For those who missed the last session, the report deadline has been set to March 13. If you have any questions about the report, we can address them in the next session.
See you all on February 3!
Best regards,
Your seminar team
