Dear all,

just a reminder, that we finished this week what we planned for this semester (we changed the last section from "Parameter-dependent centre manifolds" to "Normal forms", thanks again for Nathalie for providing the notes which can be found under "materials"). Hence, next week on Monday there will be no lecture and we will use the Wednesday lecture as open question session.

The tutorial will be postponed, check with Fabian if you want to attend and haven't gotten his e-mail yet.

If you want to take the exam, please let me know and write me a short mail.

Dear students,

the office hours of Fabian will be mondays from 13-14 o'clock at his office (3.09) but you are also free to just pass by or write an e-mail.

There are also two typos on the current exercise sheet, there will be a revised version tomorrow after the lecture:

• exercise 3 the matrix A in the system is wrong, it should be 2/t*{{1, t}, {-1/(2t), -1}} instead of 2/t*{{-1, 1/(2t)}, {-t, 1}}.
• exercise 5 the A has one minus to many, it should be A:=((lambda, omega),(-omega,lambda)).

Sorry for the confusion.
