Hi everyone,

This year, project presentations will run in two separate tracks, with 22 presentation slots per track on July 20th, 2026There is no difference between Track 1 and Track 2; they are only used to organise parallel presentation sessions.

Please discuss with your team and choose exactly one slot that works for everyone (everyone must be present for the presentation). In the chosen slot, fill in:

Team #, all team member names, and one main contact email.

The main contact email is included so that, in case of a conflict, or if your preferred slot is already taken by another team, you can contact the relevant team directly and arrange a possible slot exchange among yourselves. Please follow the example format shown in the sheet. Do not register your team in more than one slot, even if the slots are in different tracks. If a team signs up for multiple slots, we will remove all of that team’s entries, and the team will need to register again.

Here is the registration link: Project Presentation Registration Sheet. The deadline for registration is July 12th, 2026, 23:59PM. Good luck!

GPU Cluster Access

Written on 22.05.26 by Mohammad Amin Parchami Araghi

Hi everyone,

The GPU credentials are now released on CMS under "GPU Cluster Access". There you can find your username (hlcv_teamXXX) and password. This is mainly intended for the upcoming project phase but you may already familiarize yourself with it for the current Assignment 3.

Hi everyone,

The GPU credentials are now released on CMS under "GPU Cluster Access". There you can find your username (hlcv_teamXXX) and password. This is mainly intended for the upcoming project phase but you may already familiarize yourself with it for the current Assignment 3.

  • For instructions on how to use the GPU cluster, please refer to the uploaded `GPU Instructions.zip` file in the Materials tab. It includes a Markdown file which demonstrates how to submit a sample job to the cluster.
  • Make sure you are connected to the university network (either locally or with Uni's VPN). When using the GPU cluster, please avoid running any scripts on the submit node (even for downloading datasets or installing packages). This node is only supposed to submit jobs and does not have enough computational resources. Simply submit (interactive) jobs as demonstrated in the instructions file.
  • It also goes without saying that the provided cluster access is only intended for the course, and that you are responsible for keeping the credentials secure. In the instruction files you can also see how you can change the initial password. If your project or the code-base you are using at some point collects data from the internet, you must ensure that this complies with applicable laws, such as data protection, copyright, and terms of service of the sources.

Feel free to reach out to us through the mailing list or the forum in case of questions.
